What We Look For

When evaluating e-bikes for our comparison database, we analyze:

• Battery capacity - watt-hours, realistic range estimates, charging time
• Build quality - frame materials, component brands, warranty coverage
• User feedback - what real owners say after months of use
• Value for money - comparing specs within each price range

• Marketplace listings and customer reviews

We aggregate and analyze customer review patterns to identify reliability issues, real-world range vs. advertised claims, and long-term durability feedback.

What We Don't Do

We're transparent about the limitations of our methodology:

• We do not physically test every e-bike we recommend
• We cannot verify long-term durability without months of ownership
• We don't review warranty claim experiences (varies by individual)
• We can't assess local dealer service quality in your area

Corrections Policy

We are committed to accuracy and transparency. When errors are identified, here is how we handle them:

• Reporting errors: Readers can report factual errors at any time by emailing support@ebikesfinder.com. Please include the page URL and a description of the error
• Response time: Verified corrections are applied within 48 hours of confirmation
• Correction notices: Significant factual corrections (incorrect specs, wrong pricing, misleading claims) are noted at the bottom of the affected page with the date of the correction
• Historical accuracy: We do not silently remove or rewrite factual errors without acknowledgment. If a claim was published and later found to be wrong, the correction is documented transparently
